Totem Romance
Southern Africa, 3033. The spirits of the ancestors choose who will fight, old oaths still bind the clans, and rebel forces are rising in the shadows. The Totem series is Afrofuturist fantasy with romance woven through. Start with Spirit Walker, where Nandile Zulu, heir to the Lion Totem, becomes the target of the Knights of Xavier. Totem Guard follows in August 2027. A heads-up: these books are darker than my other series. Spirit Walker includes torture, the death of a child, references to an abuse history, graphic violence and open-door romance, and the series ending stays open.
